The main objective of WATER4MED is to provide a robust approach to improving water governance models, enabling efficient management of water resources, and proposing suitable alternatives to increase stored water and mitigate flooding.

Explore the suitability of high-capacity managed groundwater recharge (Flood-MAR) systems capable of collecting and infiltrating large volumes of water during periods of extreme rainfall and propose key design criteria for their implementation at the study sites.
