WATER4MED project (Water management strategies and Adaptation acTions undER a global change context FOR the MEDiterranean region” (PRIMA II section) aims to develop new approaches to adapt water governance models to the current context of global changes (climate change and growing demand) in order to define efficient water management strategies through numerical calculations, advanced hydrochemical methods, assessment of resilience to climate change and analysis of pollutants in the quality of groundwater and surface water.
The WATER4MED project aims to develop innovative solutions for water management in the Mediterranean region, focusing on adaptation to increasing climate change challenges.
Thus, the main objective of WATER4MED is to provide a robust approach to improving water governance models, enabling efficient management of water resources, and proposing suitable alternatives to increase stored water and mitigate flooding.
